Welcome back to another episode on the Lin&Lo diary.
Today we are back to talk about an interesting event which has just ended: the Afternoon BeauTea at Morton’s Club, the prestigious venue facing the gardens of Berkeley Square.
The guests were spoiled with afternoon tea, beauty snacks and champagne while discussing about make-up trends and having one-to-one beauty consultations.
The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, a big table full of mineral enriched and skincare products were available for the guests to try and experiment. Beauty experts and make-up artists were working closely to give customised advices in an elegant and inspiring setting breathing art and culture.
The Lin&Lo team was present, together with the minds behind this event, Becomely and Nadya Abela, founder of Nadezda.
Becomely is a unique personal beauty educational organisation founded by international make-up artist Julia Laza, also Lin&Lo brand ambassador.
All the proceedings from the event will be given to the children of the of foundation “Nadezda”.
For whoever is not familiar, Nadezda is charity fund with the main purpose of helping vulnerable children by focusing on medical help to children with different illnesses and disabilities and financial support to gifted children.
We believe in the importance of giving back to the community and participate in good causes.
Business philanthropy can often attract the ire of sceptics, but embodying the “giving” part to the brand DNA can really make the difference.
It is empowering to be surrounded by women entrepreneurs from different backgrounds and with different expertise coming together to fight for the same cause and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to attend this event and actively contribute.
For today it’s all, now it’s time to work off all the pastries and champagne :)
Have a great weekend!
