There are a couple of collaborations I have done since my last post and I thought I would share it with you.
Last Friday I did a beauty and lifestyle shoot with Andreea from Stiletto Shades in a very autumn setting in Notting Hill, close to where I live. For that I created 2 make-up looks. The first one was with a focus on eyes, I used the beautiful Mineral Eyeshadow Set in 'Wood Pink', and Star Powder in 'Star Pink', which looked so elegant on her! I also applied the Liquid Lip Gloss in 'Star Pink', and it perfectly matched the eye look. The fur coat in pastel colours, which we chose together with Andreea a few days before the shoot, was to the point indeed. The second makeover with her was about lips, and this time I used the Long Wear Liquid Lipstick in 'Burgundi', a very deep and sensual shade! On the eyes, I blended the Mineral Eyeshadow Set in 'Forest' with the Wet & Dry Sparkling Eyeshadow in 'Green Forest', and it was a great neutral combination. I really liked the dress chose for this look by the way!
The following day, I did a makeover for Skaiste from Scent of Blank (www.scentofblanc.com). We met in a cafe in the heart of Marylebone, had some cappuccino and created a very delicate, soft look, using several products, such as the Moisturising Liquid Foundation and Mineral Loose Powder, Mineral Eyeshadow Set in 'Smoky Grey' and Star Powder in 'Moon Light', together with Sun Tan Bronzer on her cheeks and Matte Lipstick in 'Smoky Brown' for the lips. The result was a very natural, bronzed look and exactly what we planned. Skai's style in make-up is always simple and minimal. She also liked the fact that our products are mineral and take care of the skin, while actually being so weightless. Her blog post where she is also giving some feedback about Lin&Lo is coming soon.
Another important workstream of the past few days is that I have been rehearsing a lot for a very special event early in December, a series of two make-up masterclasses. They will take place in two large Russian cities, where I will be presenting and showing some techniques and the Lin&Lo products in front of 200 of make-up artists! Feeling a bit impressed, as I have never performed in front such a big professional crowd. However I believe it will be a great experience for me and an exciting opportunity for Lin&Lo!
Will keep you posted :)
Enjoy your week ladies,
